PRICING & POLICIES

PRICING

  • Private Lesson: $40/hr.
  • Spot Lesson: $60/hr.
  • Group Lesson: $30/hr./child
  • Music Editing: $40/song
  • Video Editing: $150/video
  • To purchase batons, go to American Baton Co. or Star Line Baton Co. 
    • To purchase the proper length of baton, watch this video. 
Payment is due at the time of the lesson or paid on a month-to-month basis. Payment options include: Cash, check/money order, Paypal, Venmo, or Zelle. 

POLICIES

Cancellations & Make-Up Lessons

  1. If a lesson is canceled less than 24 hrs.* prior to its start, full lesson tuition is still due. The student may or may not receive a make-up lesson at a later date. 
  2. If the instructor cancels a lesson, and is not able to schedule a make-up lesson, the student will receive a credit for the missed lesson.
  3. If a student is 15 or more minutes late, full payment is still due upon arrival. The time missed may not be refunded or rescheduled.  
*At the instructor’s discretion, the policy of 24 hrs. notice of cancellation may be waived in the case of sudden, unpredictable illness or accident. 

CODE OF CONDUCT

Students

Recommended Attire
  • Form fitting clothing.
  • Hair in a high ponytail or bun, out of the face.
  • Appropriate footwear (e.g., Cougars/Insteps, jazz shoes, Venturelli's).
  • Minimal jewelry: No bracelets, watches, or rings (small stud ear rings may be worn).
  • For students with eye glasses, please consider consulting a doctor about the possibility of contacts for the safety of the student. 
Lesson Preparation
  • Come ready to learn!
  • Review, memorize, and know your routines at the time of your lesson. Re-learning a routine does not make for a productive lesson.
  • The word "can't" should not be in your vocabulary.
  • Respect my time and knowledge as a coach and educator.
  • Be appreciative of corrections and apply them. 
  • No gum, candy, or food. Water or sports drinks are allowed with screw-top lids. 
  • Do your best and try your hardest; that's all I ask.
  • Smile! Have fun! You should be here because you like it.

Parents & Guardians

  • A parent, guardian, or sibling 18 or older must accompany student to all lessons. 
  • Student should arrive approximately 15 minutes early to begin stretching and warming up for the lesson.
  • Payment is due at the time of the lesson or paid on a month-to-month basis. Payment options include: Cash, check/money order, or Paypal.
  • Parental involvement is encouraged, but not to the detriment of the student or distraction in the lesson. Parents are encouraged to take notes or videos for the student during their lesson. Questions can be asked at the appropriate time. 
  • I encourage parents to look into obtaining copies of rules to be informed about baton twirling contests and organizations. 
  • Parents assume responsibility of any injuries. 
  • For students with eye glasses, please consider consulting a doctor about the possibility of contacts for the safety of the student.
